The bestie and I are hitting the road this morning for the 2 hour journey to the next state! We are going to visit the closest Quintana Roo approved bike shop to (finally) have my proper bike fitting done and get the girl tuned up. After the absolute debacle that happened to the BFF and her new QR at our former LBS, I won't trust anyone but a QR authorized shop to touch her.
I would love to be able to bring PinkiePie to Kompetitive Edge anytime she/we needed anything, but schlepping out to Colorado to Maine is just not feasible.
Anyway, BFF brought her QR to the NEW LBS a couple weeks ago to have her bike checked, double checked, triple checked (it really was a freaking debacle!!) and had her fitting done - she walked away from there super impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and service and finally, after many weeks of frustration with the former LBS, she is riding happy.
But I am sure you are wondering...where's the teaser??

Our LBS is the worst, such poor customer service. Of course, Idid buy my road bike from them for about 66% off, so I have to like that. :)
Why dont we just get a group ride together and make our way towards KE? I'm down.

Don't settle when it comes to a bike fit. Get it done right otherwise it will be such a pain 'literally'
