Can't go wordless wednesday on this one
though, really
there are no words...
Tuesday I had a little ride with Dawn.
It was windy, it rained. There was some thunder so that means lightening as well.
But one thing we did not expect was this...
next to the beach
along the side of the road
trotting along
do chickens trot?
there were two
but one high tailed it into the grass.
the other one?
yeah, he begged us for snacks.
I gave the poor little chicken what he asked for....
THE CHICKEN LOVES POWERBAR ENERGY BLASTS
That chicken just loved, loved, loved my Powerbar Energy Blasts (raspberry).
Tell me:
What is something odd/different/strange that you have encountered on a ride/run/outing lately??

hahaha She looks just like Stella!!!
They love fruity things.
Buffalo on the Rev3 Cedar Point ride route :) Stopped EVERY time we rode the course last year... we rode the course A LOT!
Stung in thigh by hornet during IMWI..got fishing hook stuck in my shoulder when I was riding behind some people fishing near a bike path. ..had a pigeon fly into my spokes while going through an underpass...got hit in the face by a dead chipmunk my riding partner had just run over while mountain biking. I really should not bike..you know that chicken would have bit me.
Awww cute pics! My dad swears on his bike ride on Monday evening he saw a penguin in the river!!! We live in the desert...
That. Is. Awesome.
Hilarious.
Something strange?! On a treadmill?! Hmmmmm. Ya. I've. Got. Nuthin
This is absolutely hilarious!!
Lure them in with powerbars, then you end up with a nice dinner! haha, that is quite unexpected.
Chicked indeed, Jen.
I've seen lots of animals but none that I have been close enough to feed them my Powerbars. Turkeys, coyotes, deer...
I had blackbirds pecking @ my head a few weeks back on a long run. They didn't like me running close to their nests. I stepped up the pace a bit after that!
Haha too funny! Do you think you can get more powerbucks from this one? ;) Weirdest thing I saw recently was a crocodile on the side of the road in Wilmington NC while cycling!
This is so awesome! Looks like one of my girls. Protein is very good for them too....helps keep up the egg production.
That is awesome.
A few weeks ago I rode passed a donkey peeing. That was odd.
Too funny! Looks like you have a pet chicken now!
