I am going to be TOUGH in 2012 by being a fun and FIT role model for my two beautiful daughters. I hope that they can learn from me that the goals we have in life may not be easy, but they are WORTH IT! : )
ReplyDeleteI am gong to be TOUGH in 2012 by blasting away last year's time at the Pewaukee (WI) Triathlon. A year's worth of training instead of just 10 weeks like last year.

How am I going to be TOUGH in 2012? Easy, I'm going after 100 miles in the woods, on the rocks and up the side of a mountain this May, God willing. Yeah, I think on the other side of that I will be just slightly tough. At least my kids will think so.

ReplyDeleteFor me 2012 is going to be year of slow and steady. Last year I ended up battling two injuries and actually quit running for a while. This year I plan to focus on mild strengthening, flexability and slowly building miles. I am also not going to let the accomplishments of others make me feel less tough when I choose not to go for longer, tougher races. It is when I do this that I push too hard and ended up injured. I am going to be my own kind of tough :)
